Interns preferably must have on or two years of practical experience an meet minimum
language skills. Although it is recognized that considerable language progress will be made after the first few months of training. You should have horticultural background or experience in your field specific, technical field.

Applicants must be at least high school graduates, and most candidates have graduated
from, or currently attending horticultral colleges/universities , and are also planning
future careers in horticulture.

In additon applicants should meet other minimum standards to participate as special
students at universities in other countries, if you choose a program with a study part.
Generally , prospective interns are between 19-30 years of age and are students who
have completed at least two years of study at horticultural colleges or universities in
their home countries.

Couples , married or unmarried, are strongly discouraged from applying as placement
of both candidates with a mutually suitable host is extremely difficult.
Any couples that apply, regardless, must be fully prepared to spend the entire program
time apart. You may be seperated 6-12 month from your partner.
The progress in developing a new language will be much faster than if you
stay with your partner and I promise the month will be gone like nothing.
